- - Robert T. Allison, 43, of 30 Allison Gap Road, Belleville, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at his residence. Born August 5, 1966, in Huntingdon, he was the son of Robert W. Allison and Marie (Yoder) Allison, Mill Creek.
Robert is survived by his brother Scott D. Allison and his wife Christine, of Pennsylvania Furnace, and two special nephews, Matthew and Zachary Allison. He also had lots of very special aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a graduate of Huntingdon Area High School Class of 1984 and Penn Tech College in Williamsport. Robert was employed at G.E. Inspection Technologies in Lewistown as an Inspection Technoligist.
He was a member of the Allensville Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Chestnut Springs Hunting Camp. Robert had many friends and enjoyed camping, hunting, boating, motorcycle riding, restoring and working on Chevys and was a NASCAR fan. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main Street, Lewistown, with the Rev. Clifford Haddox and the Rev. George Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Allensville Presbyterian Cemetery. There will be no public viewing, however, family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Allensville Presbyterian Church, 126 E. Main Street, Allensville, PA 17002.
